Background Information:
Several years ago a student asked the question, "Why do you teach science?" Only when I formulated my answer did I understand why I have had a love of science since I was a child. Science begins with curiosity and ends with empirical evidence. I love that science often begins with a question can be tested and often a scientific proven answer. I hope for each of my students to start with the curiosity and find their "WHY?" One should never stop learning. On a personal note, I love to vacation and learn all I can about different countries, their environment, and their cultures. Both my husband and myself have instilled in our two grown kids that every day is another chance to enhance who you are as a person. I hope to insight in each of my students curiosity and a desire for knowledge that enhances their lives.
